Bead Soup Blog Party Reveal

And here it is, the day we've all been waiting for, the Second Reveal for Lori Anderson's 7th Annual Bead Soup Blog Party. This years event is the biggest to date!  Kym Hunter was my Bead Soup Blog Partner. She sent me a bunch of fun ingredients - even a few things I've never worked with before.  I even used some of the packaging in the mix...

I was really attracted to the "Fly" pendant.  It resonated with me on some level.  The other focal I have yet to do anything with.  I did, however, utilize the polymer clay bead that was attached to it.  I used some of my own beads, bronze rings, and chain to create my design.  The clasp is attached to the chain with sari ribbon which makes it adjustable.  So, here it is...

I used the little brass tag (above right) and silk sari ribbon from the packaging.

If you'd like a chance to win this beautiful pendant, please post a comment with your email address.  The winner will be revealed on April 20th.

The list of names below represents the members of the second reveal.  Stop by their blogs to see what they cooked up with their soup ingredients...

    1. Thanks Brandi. My aesthetic is usually pretty simple and clean. Working with the sari silk was a little outside of my comfort zone, but I really like it.

    1. The birds are back - maybe that was what made me feel that the "Fly" focal must be utilized in this pendant. I still have the other focal and hope to get it incorporated into something real soon!
